The wheel that turns strand travel into lashing. This rubber strand drive wheel rides the strand and drives the lasher's gearbox as the machine moves. These wheels, like any friction part, wears with the miles and when the wheel starts slipping, the consistency of your wrap suffers. The installation of these Drive Wheels can be very difficult. We recommend sending in your lasher for these repairs. Gearbox timing can be compromised leading to premature wear of gears and shafts and could cause the lasher to lock up on the strand.
