This zinc plated heat treated alloy steel stop bar sets the open position of the rear gate on GMP J2 lashers, giving the gate a solid, consistent surface to seat against. A worn, bent, or missing stop bar lets the gate open past where it should, and cable control at the rear of the machine suffers for it.
Replacing the stop bar restores a clean, repeatable gate position, and it pairs naturally with the rear gate retainer spring if you are refreshing the whole gate. Like all NPT lasher parts, it is machined to match original fit and function, supplied by the Pennsylvania shop that has been repairing GMP lashers for decades.
