J/J2 Rear Gate Latch Pad

The latch pad takes a beating every time your rear gate closes, so it is one of the first parts to show its age on a hard-working lasher. This replacement heat treated alloy steel latch pad for the J and J2 cable lasher restores solid latch engagement and keeps the gate seating the way it should.

We machine this pad to the original spec, and it installs with the two included pins for a direct swap. Replacing it is a quick fix that heads off bigger rear gate problems down the line.
