J/J2 Rear Gate Latch Bar (Fixed Pad)

The latch bar that takes the bite. This heat treated steel latch bar is what the rear gate of the GMP J2 lasher clamps against, and the hardened, ridged gripping surface is what keeps hold without slipping. Heat treating gives the bar the durability to take that clamping load day after day, but once the serrations finally wear smooth or the bar gets chewed up, grip fades and a fresh bar is the fix.

This part is also called a fixed pad. It ships with its mounting screws for a clean install. Like all NPT lasher parts, it matches original fit and function, supplied by the Pennsylvania shop that has been repairing GMP lashers for decades.
